FLOATING
INFORMATION ON THE FILM:
Great interview with the director of the movie here.
Norman Reedus stars as Van, a young whose life was shattered when he was sixteen by the car accident which severed his father's legs. His mother, unable to cope, abandoned the family leaving Van to care for his embittered father.
As Van's life disintegrates, he finds himself abandoned once again, this time by his affluent girlfriend who does not understand the toll his losses have taken on him. As he slips into a life of petty crime, he meets Doug (Chad Lowe), an all-American swim champion, who has moved into Van's old house. As their friendship deepens, Van soon learns that the "perfect life" isn't always what it seems.
MY OWN PERSONAL REVIEW OF THE MOVIE:
Bottom line, the movie is good. I, of course, found Norman Reedus captivating. I did not like the ending of the movie. Felt it could have gone in a different direction. But Norman held his own in the movie and showed what a handsome man he is. One of my favorites on Mr. Reedus.
